Grove Street Illuminated
Grove Street Illuminated and Boise Canal are two related public art projects and were the first pieces completed under the Percent for Art program in Boise Idaho. A revitalization of a downtown plaza and parking garage resulted in a landmark sculpture for the city. Located on a prominent street, it was important that the sculpture work for viewers in their cars. However, it is high pedestrian area and needed to speak to people intimately on foot or bike.
