Spora was commissioned by a private developer for The Jefferson, a downtown condominium building in Boise Idaho. As I developed my concept and proposal I spent time walking around the building. It is surrounded by a variety of large trees and on that fall day a multitude of leaves in every size shape and color were swirling around my feet. I thought about wind and when entering a building there is always a slight gust of wind that helps "blow" you into the space. The installation is a thought out scattering of the glass pieces much like a gust of wind might create.
